Following three years of service as Commissioner and Chair of the Board Real Estate Committee, appointed Interim President & CEO by the Mayor of Atlanta and the AH Board Chair to lead the turnaround of an agency facing critical financial, legal, and programmatic challenges during a national search for a permanent CEO. 8 direct reports and 311 full-time employees responsible for managing an annual financial footprint exceeding $500M, 109 properties across 340 acres, 12,000+ residential units, developing 400 acres of vacant land, and serving 50,000+ residents and rental assistance. Negotiated and advanced resolution of legal disputes exceeding $150M, safeguarding federal and state funding in coordination with the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and private partners.
